Welcome to Dobbs Ferry!
Dobbs Ferry, considered one of Westchester’s Rivertowns, is a beautiful village community that is perched over the Hudson River. About a 20 minute drive to NYC and approximately a 40 minute commute on the Metro North Hudson Line into Grand Central. Living in Dobbs Ferry is very special because of its parks, walking paths like the Old Croton Aqueduct, the Waterfront Park, exceptional restaurants, shops and sense of community, history and great village vibe.
Dobbs Ferry has a new community pool at Gould Park, which is also home to ball fields, basketball courts and play structures. There is something for everyone at Gould Park. The town turns out for football games and baseball games, there is so much team spirit and support from the whole community! There are also community celebrations like Ferry Festa and Summer Jazz concerts.
Dobbs Ferry schools include Springhurst Elementary, Dobbs Ferry High School and Middle School and The Masters School, which is a private school. Dobbs Ferry is even home to a four year college, Mercy College.
Check out Dobbs Ferry, NY when you have time. Restaurants I recommend: Half Moon, Tomatillo, The Parlor, The Cookery, Sam’s Italian Restaurant And Scaperrotta’s Deli if you need a quick sandwich for a picnic down by the river.
The lifestyle this community offers is one that makes Dobbs Ferry a sought after place to live. I, Debra Goodwin, actually recently moved to Dobbs Ferry about 18 months ago and am really enjoying it! One very special home currently available in Dobbs Ferry is 244 Palisade Ave, in Dobbs Ferry, NY. It is part of the Riverview Manor neighborhood that runs between Dobbs Ferry and Hastings-on-Hudson with river views. It is very close to the Village area; you can walk to the train and all the Village has to offer!
